スタンプワーク刺繍では形やデザインによって数多くの種類のステッチを使います。
その中でも特によく使うステッチを取り入れて作った作品があります。
22種類の異なるステッチを使っています。
これは、生徒さん方がステッチを確認しながら作業ができるように…という思いからデザインして、そしてソーイングボックスの蓋になるようにしました。
カルトナージュ作家のI様にお願いして箱に仕上げて頂きました。
必要な道具がたっぷり入るサイズです！撮影用に整えましたが本当はもっとごちゃごちゃ（笑）
生徒さんには箱の布をお好みで選んで頂き、ソーイングボックスに仕上げます。刺繍との相性を考えると布選びって意外と難しいんですよね。カルトナージュは布がいのちですから！
先日、お手持ちの空き箱を利用してご自身でこんな立派なボックスに仕上げた方がいらっしゃいます。
「なんちゃってカルトナージュだから…」とH様は謙遜されますが、そんなことありません。幸せな気分になれるようなステキなソーイングボックスです！そしてとても大きい！！
